Posting messages

To post a message to a message board as a new topic, simply click on the New topic link in the message board listing.

 

If you want to reply to a particular message, open the message and click Reply.

 

In both cases, a new page will open, and you can start typing the subject and text of your message.

 

Note: the message board could be shared as read only - in this case the above links will not be available, and you are only allowed to read messages.

Attaching documents or contacts to a message

Click on the Attachments button at the bottom of the page where you compose the message.

 

A new window will pop up. Click on the appropriate button to attach different types of documents:

 

Once you have finished selecting the attachments, click on Done to close the attachments window.

 

To add or remove attachments to or from your message, click on the Attachments button again.

 

Tip: if you have a file that you often post as an attachment, consider saving it to a DeskNow folder, and use the Attach DeskNow files button to attach it every time you need to post it. In this way you need to upload it only the first time, and every subsequent time it will be much faster.
